A few things I have learned

Doughnuts are bad luck.

Target does not sell paint.

Life does not really make sense, it's not supposed to.

People are generally shallow, stupid and afraid of anything they do not readily understand.

The world stopped making heroes a long time ago, that's why comic books are such a popular medium.

Regardless of how much I try to avoid them, I will almost always entangle myself in a weird, awkward and silly situation.

If you have the opportunity to create something, you always should.

If you have the opportunity to destroy something, you always should.

If you say anything firmly and with great clarity of speech, people will agree with you in that moment.

"Nothing is true, everything is permitted."  - William Burroughs

"Language, by and large, is a tool used to conceal the truth."  - George Carlin

Nobody here knows where you are going when you die and anyone who claims to is either insane or lying.

In school, your teachers were likely just as stupid and ill informed as you were.

When a "moment" passes you by, it's only form of return is to haunt you.

Wise men learn that failure is progress, a fool let's one small victory define him forever.

The status quo sucks.

If a person finds any reason to look down at you, they will use it to do just that.

Love is an infinitely destructive and dangerous force within a person.

The planet is absolutely fine, the people on it are completely fucked.

Television really does rot your brain.

Politics are a bad joke that insult the intelligent members of our species.

Religion is hilarious.

People will happily turn over any and all of their rights for safety, just not their guns.

If or when you find that person who makes you burn intensely from within, that makes you want to be better than you are, hang on for dear life and NEVER let them forget, even for a second, how important they are to you.

People are for sale, if you find yourself dealing with a person who can never be bought, no matter what you offer, know that they are a true anomaly in our kind.

The plans of the powers that be always start in the poor part of town, where nobody who can do anything about it will ever notice.

The true joy of life is never reaching the top of the mountain, but the climb itself.

An openly righteous man likely has more dirt and grime beneath the sole of his shoe than most.

Trust and respect are earned, not inherent.

Knowledge is power that comes with tremendous pain and frustration.

Ignorance is bliss.

The "I want it now!" world we live in is eternally fearful and wary of a patient man.

The artist, the scribe and the storyteller are an endangered species, due to it's audience.

Even if we were all exactly the same, we would still find ways to hate and separate from one another.

The truth is meaningless when the population knowingly chooses to embrace the lies.

Life ain't so bad, you just have to find the path through it that best suits you, the typical American dream is for drones.

It is always better to act crazy first, because later on you can always appear normal, it keeps people honest.

The small joy of messing with people throughout daily life is one that can help a bad day along.

"In human relationships, kindness and lies are worth a thousand truths." - Graham Greene

There is no nirvana such as the one the sight of a waiting, blank page invokes.

And lastly for what I have learned in the first thirty years of life, that I know absolutely nothing.
